As residents in Hugo begin to move on from last week's tornado, some say they noticed a few bizarre things amid all the damage. Jason Akins said the twister unwound a roll of toilet paper in his bathroom — draped it across the countertop, then rewound it in the sink. The toilet paper didn't even rip.

June 03rd 2008 - Update to Schooling plus new stuff

Well I managed to contact some schools regarding information about the classes, sadly to say, some of the people lack getting ahold of you quickly, so I must be patient. However that Networking Cable Technician role, is currently unavailable, and after researching more and more that was my top #1 pick
Now I'm looking into different education systems, like DEVRY, SENECA, SHERIDAN etc, all schools in Brampton and Mississauga.
So going to put that on hold for a bit on this blog, while people get ahold of me and I get a better understanding what is available to me, in my local area.

NASA NEWS - Well Mars Phoenix is off to a great start, the claw has opened up, and taken pictures of the rocky terrain scooped up in this claw! Check it out on NASA Website
This image from NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander's Robotic Arm Camera (RAC) shows material from the Martian surface captured by the Robotic Arm (RA) scoop during its first test dig and dump on the seventh Martian day of the mission, or Sol 7 (June 1, 2008). The test sample shown was taken from the digging area informally known as "Knave of Hearts."
Scientists speculate that the white patches on the right side of the image could possibly be ice or salts that precipitated into the soil. Scientists also speculate that this white material is probably the same material seen in previous images from under the lander in which an upper surface of an ice table was observed. The color for this image was acquired by illuminating the RA scoop with a set of red, green, and blue light-emitting diodes (LEDs).

Back to School - Sunday June 1st 2008
So, I'm thinking about going back to school, been looking at classes and here is what I got, that I am interested in taking right now.
The problem is, A) I live on my own, so I have to pay rent and goto school and work at the same time, and I really do not feel like taking a loan from the Government of Ontario/Canada for schooling.
Here is some of the classes that have interested me, here in the Toronto area
Computer and Network Support Technician
Computer Engineering Technology
Network Cabling Specialist Apprenticeship
Emergency Telecommunications
Network Cabling Specialist Apprenticeship
Emergency Telecommunications
Those are the classes, I've looked at today, all Humber school offerings, I was on the Sheridan website to begin with, and to be honest, their site is terrible!!!!! thank you Humber for making it easier and understandable
later this week I am going to contact humber and talk about a few of these questions, once I gather some questions to ask them, about each class, to see if they tickle my fancy, more or less...
